Instructions for use:
- Stir well prior to use and keep product tightly closed in its original container out of direct light when not in use.
- For best results, use a brush or roller to coat the mold with Spartan Products Mold Release Agent
- Apply an initial layer of CLP #626 brushable natural latex molding compound with a fine brush. The initial layer should be as thin as possible and care should be taken to work the latex into all details. Create a wide flange around the base of the model where the model meets the mounting surface.
- Allow to dry for 2 - 6 hours, depending on temperature and humidity.
- Apply subsequent layers over top of each layer in as uniform of a thickness as possible, allowing to dry for 2 - 6 hours between each layer.
- Apply a minimum of 10 layers and at most 20 layers prior to de-molding. A final thickness of 1/16" to 1/8" is sufficient for most applications.
- Allow the mold to dry for 24 hours after the final coat is applied prior to removing the mold.
Note: To ensure product quality, all sales of latex products are final. CLP #626 must be kept tightly closed in its original container and out of direct light in order to prolong shelf life.
